This is a fantastic opportunity for the individual to join an existing team where you will be striding the Finance/User/IT functions. The role will be for 6 months and will be based in Dublin.

MAIN PURPOSE:
My prestigious insurance client is investing significantly to expand its distribution platform to support its growth objectives. They are implementing a new policy administration solution and this key position will support the financial reporting needs by assisting with the specifications, development and implementation activities for the Finance unit. This position will require close working relationships with the Finance, Insurance and IT in multiple locations.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
In accordance with the agreed IT strategy, to develop and implement IT solutions to meet the business and processing needs of the Finance department.
Work with various business segments within the organization to define and document Lloyds reporting requirements
This will include the discussion with end users, development of detailed specifications, gap analysis and potential process change requirements and liaison with Global IT unit over development and acting as an interface with users and management.
It will also include developing appropriate UAT plans and ensuring appropriate training and documentation is in place for implementation.
Knowledge of Finance and standard industry management and finance reporting practices
Define, document and execute testing requirements
Ensures testing issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
Ability to manage tasks/projects with aggressive deadlines/time-sensitivity

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree
Typically requires at least 5 years experience in a financial business analyst/systems role
Understand how design impacts downstream reporting & integration of data
