Reporting Architect

- REPORTING ARCHITECT

The Reporting Architect defines and drives the realization of best in class enterprise Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytic capabilities throughout the enterprise. Works closely with the Business Intelligence Delivery teams to ensure delivery of informational integrity across all systems.

- Design and document conceptual and logical data models for the data warehouse architecture to scale out for a large number of transactions monthly
- Execute entire components of large Business Intelligence & Analytics key activities from start to finish working with the Business Intelligence Delivery teams, mitigating issues, and communicating status to the Technology Project Manager
- Ensure best practices across the Business Intelligence disciplines for development and architecture
- Work with DBA's to ensure optimal database performance and availability
- Have involvement with tools analysis, exploration, and recommendation including Big Data as well as other Business Intelligence and ETL tools

Minimum Qualifications

- Proven hands-on experience with data modelling, data architecture and/or design of enterprise-level Business Intelligence solutions
- Experience in building complex SQL, PL/SQL queries and stored procedures
- Hands-on development of reports from a variety of data sources including relational databases
- Experience in gathering and analysing business/technical requirements
- Experience within an enterprise-level data warehouse, OLAP, reporting-focused Business Intelligence environment within a large organization
- Previous work experience within a large, complex Oracle environment
