Job Duties:
The business analyst will run existing reporting systems and presentations and develop new ad-hoc reports and presentations as required.

Responsibilities:
Work with other members of Procurement, Finance, and Requisitioners to understand the diverse requirements.
Use an understanding of procurement processes, systems and data for problem solving and other ad hoc analysis.
Perform financial analysis plus associated sensitivity evaluations.
Use Procurement and Finance systems and associated Business Intelligence tools as a regular part of the role for such things as opportunity analysis, metric development, issue resolution and performance monitoring.
Produce relevant and useful analytical support to help drive decision making and achieve group objective.
Work on P2P related Programs and Projects as assigned.
Gather, analyze and interpret P2P transactional and process data.
Package and present results of analysis in clear and useful manner.
Use analysis results to develop recommendation to improve P2P processes and operational activities.
Communicate recommendations, benefits and risks in a clear way.
Develop relationships to support day-to-day activities and facilitate consensus building for programs and processes.
Work with Sourcing colleagues to understand requirements to help improve the delivery of procurement processes and tools.
Research best practices, industry trends, etc to help improve the delivery of procurement processes and tools.
Execute on assigned projects and manage multiple priorities in parallel.

SKILLS:

Education and experience:
Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree (preferable).
3-5 years experience in a business environment.
Procurement, finance, business process and/or technology experience (preferable).
Very strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong Financial skills (procurement skills preferable).
Self motivated, organized and comfortable in a changing business environment.
Ability to communicate complex messages in clear and concise manner.
Must have very strong MS Excel skills (including pivot-tables, graphics, macros).
MS PowerPoint skills.
MS Access capabilities preferred.
Analytical capabilities, general business acumen, MS PowerPoint construction.
