HR Reporting/MI Analyst required for large investment banking client in London - supporting the Global Banking and Markets HR Teams

HR Reporting Analysts are aligned to Line of Business & Functional HR teams to support evolving business needs for HR Information Reporting.

This role is the first point of contact for all business headcount metrics, reporting queries and delivery of the Reporting Products & Services for the client group, with the key ability to interpret complex data and produce reports into meaningful format for HR Generalists, Business Managers & Business Leaders. Significant seasonal time-critical activities include support of the processes around Year End Performance Management and Compensation.

You will assist with data management and data integrity exercises/routines - data integrity being critical and requiring the up most focus and attention.

A successful HR Reporting analyst should possess a strong grasp of data analysis techniques, ideally coupled with a numerical or analytical background and advanced Excel skills, due to the spreadsheet heavy nature of the role.

You will also have excellent skills in communication and time management with demonstrable ability to prioritise multiple activities and deliverables.

Responsibilities:
* Understand the Reporting products & services and know how to apply these to solve client requests.
* Build and maintain LOB/Functional reporting solutions including dashboards and templates for regular requests.
* Point of contact on daily issues on data for business managers, HR service centre and compensation team.
* Understand the Business Areas: Functions, Responsibilities, Reporting Hierarchies etc.
* Ensure day to day regional reporting needs are completed in meaningful format for HR Generalists, Business Managers & Business Leaders, including:
- Regular extracts, analyses and scheduled reports.
- Ad-hoc reporting. Support requests for data, ensuring that deadlines and priorities are agreed.

* Support the time-critical seasonal activities, including the processes around Year End Performance Management and Compensation.
* Monitor Data Quality issues and liaise with members of the HR team to ensure data is clean.
* Assist with data management and integrity exercises/routines.
* Support the process to develop, simplify and standardise the reporting process across the business in EMEA.

Basic Qualifications:
* Advanced Excel skills, due to the spreadsheet heavy nature of the role.
* Ability to summarise and interpret complex data into a meaningful format.
* Demonstrate ability to work in a fast pace, high volume environment
* Experience in prioritising competing demands
* Proactive - displaying energy and initiative in solving problems.
* Adaptable - undertake a variety of tasks willingly.
* Ability to switch between tasks when required.
* Work effectively with a variety of personalities and work styles
* Good verbal communication skills

* Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organise and communicate across functional and technical lines

* Knowledge/experience of information analysis tools

Desired Qualifications
* Knowledge of HR business processes and systems
* Experience with HR data and reporting
* Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and strategies
* Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence and HR Analytics
