Technical Business Analyst - Building Complex Excel Models

Project: New Build Excel Model for Planning & Forecasting

My client is commencing an exciting new project to build a new Excel model to facilitate the bank's financial forecasting and planning process. The model will have a number of input modules, a calculation and data capture engine and output reporting capability. To complete this project the bank requires an individual with specific experience in building integrated Excel models for planning and forecasting. There are a number of Excel Models in place but they now all need to be integrated into one centralised Model. The Project is running to tight deadlines, so the ability to 'hit the ground running' and strong competency in Excel Modelling is an absolute requirement.

The required individual should have the following experience and skill set:
* Strong expertise in building complex Excel models
* An analyst that ideally would have specific experience of building Excel models for planning and forecasting.
* The successful candidate will be tasked building, fully documenting and designing appropriate controls for the new centralised system.
* Experience of working in the banking industry would be an advantage
* Ability to work on own initiative with direction from Finance subject matter experts
* Experience of working in an agile development environment
* Experience of working to tight deadlines and project delivery timetables
