Reporting Analyst

REPORTING ANALYST NEEDED IN PHOENIX

This Reporting Analyst will work within the informatics team in the client onsite Health organization.  The Informatics team is responsible for a variety of functions including managing, creating and developing the reporting for onsite clinics, health coaching, biometric screenings and incentive programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides intermediate to complex reporting services using a variety of reporting tools for client's Regional and National accounts. Produce daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics reports as directed. Designs, implements, and manages multiple Access databases used to collect, store and query large and numerous data sources for reporting. Ensures accuracy and reliability of data through ongoing research, evaluation, and reconciliation contributing to ongoing report maintenance and enhancement. Evaluates and appropriately utilizes various approaches to analytics, data mining and metric correlations to consolidate dozens of unique data sources both internally and from external vendors into data that is meaningful, actionable and appropriate for client requirements. Works with Matrix partners to define valid and reliable performance metrics relating to quality, cost, health outcomes, and customer satisfaction.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- 3-5 years of reporting experience with strong understanding of related business practices, methods, and procedures.
- Background in healthcare with an understanding of lab and body measurement values including total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, BMI among others.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with software and reporting applications including Microsoft Access, Excel and SQL Server databases.
- Intermediate to advanced understanding and experience with relational database functions including Microsoft Access queries and table management.
- Programming skills in data mining utilizing SQL and process automation using Access VBA is preferred.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a team player and work well with many different internal and external partners.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, at least 3, typically 5 or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT.
