REPORTING ACCOUNTANT - BROADCAST/MEDIA INDUSTRY

6 MONTH CONTRACT

IMMEDIATE START

Our client, a global broadcast services and media company, are looking to recruit a Reporting Accountant on a 6 month contract. This role will be based in their offices in West London, and will be responsible for drawing together the group financial position for monthly management accounts and for statutory accounts, as well as dealing with treasury.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensuring best financial practice and completeness of the consolidated group accounts
- Support in the provision of information into the management accounts
- Maintain the 90 cash forecast
- Handle treasury aspects and manage bank accounts
- Deal with ad hoc and routine tasks requiring central control (eg accommodation, forecasts and accruals)
- Prepare group VAT returns and ensure timely filing

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- ACA qualified accountant, with experience within a top 20 accountancy practice
- Experience within a external audit functions, working with a range of industries and company sizes
- Experience in preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Up to date knowledge of accounting standards
- High level knowledge of Excel and MS Office suite
- Knowledge of Agresso or similar systems would be an advantage
