Repair Technician

Yoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a REPAIR TECHNICIAN to join our client in Oceanside, CA.

JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is a long term opportunity with a fast growing company in the Electronics Industry. The salary levels for this position are above average and they offer a very relaxed work environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs evaluations, quoting and repairs of test and measurement equipment.
- Assists and trains other technicians as necessary.
- Maintains technical skills and stays current with product technology and specifications.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience normally gained through eight (8) years of experience in electronic troubleshooting and repair.
- PMEL or technical degree in electronics, with equivalent knowledge and certification.
- Must be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of metrology principles.
- Must be proficient in the products of the work group and an expert in metrology principles and repair techniques.
- Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to work multiple tasks assigned.
- Requires good written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of instrumentation/diagnostic programming and the ability to modify or create automated test programs would be a plus.
