Repair Manager/Inventory Manager

Background
Our Central Government client is looking to take on a Hull & Auto Systems Group (HASG) Repair Manager to work a 12 month contract to be based in Bristol.

Role
The Key Responsibility of the Repair Manager is to meet the demands of the customer by delivering availability of their assigned inventory of repairable Line Replacement Units (LRU) through the Rights & Principles of Supply Chain Management.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure sustained cost effective availability of their inventory through.
Generation and validation of the 10 year repair plan using available planning tools.
Delivery of the plan, maintaining the optimum level of inventory required.
Completing Inventory reviews and completing disposal action when necessary.
Maintaining accurate records on Inventory Systems (IS) to satisfy Materiel accounting requirements..
Manage delegated budget in accordance with the Team Business Rules and Letters of Delegations ensuring accuracy of FOO sheets..
Ensuring the accuracy of item data records within IS and OSP..
Raise Repair Requirements and drive process to ensure contracts available to deliver plan.. Assessment, management and reporting of items identified on COSL and/or SPC failure returns.
Identification, sentencing and delivery of HASG and/or other CTG/ST wider stock reduction/disposal activities..
Assessment and review of OSP Inventory KPIs, identifying and delivering actions to improve KPIs in accordance with CTG ST Business plan or other strategic direction/initiatives
