Job Description

We are looking to add an experienced Remote Vertica DBA to our System Administration team in Hamburg.
The successful candidate MUST have:
• 3+ plus year's related experience
• Very strong database background - particularly OLAP/data warehousing
• Strong knowledge in various Vertica database configuration parameter, K-safe and projections
• Experience in using Vertica admintool and VSQL
• Experience as an operations DBA in a 24X7 environment
• Proven ability in managing databases of 1-3TB in size
• experience as a DBA on Unix/Linux environments maintaining production databases with good knowledge of system administration
• Prior experience in Data warehousing.
