Remediation Analyst

Experience of working in financial services in either compliance, past business review or regulatory complaint handling and also be Level 4 qualified with experience in protection and investment products

The successful applicant will:

- Ensure customers have been remediated in line with agreed procedures
- Verify redress calculations and correspondence
- Provide accurate and articulate assessments of findings
- Discuss any issues identified with the client
- Propose remedial action for any financial detriment not addressed by the bank on a case-by-case basis
- Escalate process errors/risks/issues

Competencies required:

- Remediation, technical complaint handling or past business review/suitability assessment experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of suitability assessments and remediation principles with good numerical skills
- Good decision making and confident in providing feedback to the client Able to work independently and part of a team
- A good understanding of the FCA principles, TCF and COB rules
- Knowledge of Retail investment products; ISAs, OEICs
- Knowledge of Retail Protection products; Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income protection
