Religious Studies Teacher

The school in question is a co-educational grammar school. There are currently approximately 1000 Year 7-11 pupils on roll.

An enthusiastic, dedicated and inspirational subject specialist teacher of humanities is required to teach Religious Studies to KS3 and KS4 as well as either Geography and/or History to Key Stages 3. The successful candidate will have ample opportunity to contribute to the wider life of this thriving school.
The Requirements:
As the successful Religious Studies teacher you will need to;
- Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
- Have the ability and experience of teaching R.S to KS3 and KS4.
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
- Possess the passion to teach Religion in education.
