Reliability Test Technician Quality Job

RELIABILITY TEST TECHNICIAN QUALITY needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Auburn Hills, MI.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Environmental/mechanical testing
- Component level testing
- Vibration/Mechanical Shock

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Monitor the progress of environments, to include documenting the test results in individual test reports
- Conduct a wide range of environmental and mechanical testing (Vibration, Temp+Humidity, Corrosion, etc.)
- Assist in implementation of testing at external test facilities, to include monitoring tests in process to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Vibration/Mechanical Shock - Must be able to interrupt customer test specifications so that he/she can program vibration controllers
- Temperature/Temperature + Humidity Tests - Must be able to interrupt customer test specifications so that he/she can program environmental chamber
- Corrosion Test (Salt Fog/Spray) - Must be able to interrupt customer test specifications so that he/she can program cyclic corrosion chamber Tension/Compression Tests - Must be able to interrupt customer test specifications so that he/she can program Instron test stand (Bluehill software
- Must have technical writing skills to provide detailed test results of product design or manufacturing issues observed/reported during validations

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) years experience at an environmental/mechanical test facility (preferably a lab whose primary focus was component level testing)
- Experience in multiple test disciplines/customers
- Two (2) year degree (EET) or comparable training (ie military)
- Environmental testing experience to include thorough knowledge of standard vibration and environmental test practices and procedures
