32.00 - 35.00 per hour

The Company:
My client is a global chemical producer with applications used across various industries - from automotive to food to paint. With significant investment plans and numerous technical challenges to be addressed. They are looking to significantly improve their Mechanical and Reliability functions on site. To aid them with various strategic challenges, they are looking to add a Reliability Engineer to their experienced team.

Role Description:
Working in a team of experienced process technicians and operators, your role is to identify and improve maintenance and reliability issues on site.

The Person:
My client is looking for a qualified mechanical engineer from a heavy process background that can identify and implement plant improvement s, reduce plant downtime and put procedures in place to analyse and improve maintenance strategies.

* HNC Mechanical Engineering
* Mechanical responsibility in a high hazard or chemical process environment
* Knowledge of different maintenance strategies e.g. predictive and pre-planned.

This role would suit a senior maintenance professional, a reliability engineer or a projects engineer from a heavy manufacturing environment with pumps, pipes, valves and vessels etc.
