Reliability Engineer

I have 2 new Reliability positions with an operator based in sunny Aberdeen. These excellent role boast long term contracts with one of the world's most successful operators. In these positions you key tasks would be to prevent critical equipment failures and eliminate recurring defects in both a systematic and sustainable way. Acting as the focal point for surface related issues with regards to availability and reliability of equipment systems, equipment operation, and equipment health you should have experience in a similar role. The role requires someone with reliability methodology knowledge, at least 6 yearsUKbased Oil and Gas experience and a firm understanding of CBM. Before you do this though, please take a careful looks at the following responsibilities to see if this is the right fit for you: - Support the review of the preventive maintenance plan as part of the 5- yearly review cycle, utilising risk and reliability management (RRM) processes - Reviews SAP preventive maintenance task lists to ensure they are fit for purpose, and in compliance with the Maintenance Performance standards and procedures and instructions - Display knowledge of Maintenance methodologies like RCM, FMEA, PMO and CBM - A BSc. Degree/ HND (or equivalent) with Engineering experience in rotating, mechanical, electrical or instrumentation discipline, and an understanding of equipment and dominant failures for this discipline - Previous experience of RCA work would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided I hope to hear from you soon.
