RELEASE TRAIN ENGINEER/RTE/SAFE/IJMUIDEN - NETHERLANDS/6 MONTHS

Radtac are looking for a Release Train Engineer/Agile Coach for a 6 month contract based in Ijmuiden. As an RTE you will be working with 20-50 teams, helping more than 300 people deliver a programme. This is a key role that will engage with the entire organisation, including engineers and top and senior management from several locations worldwide.

You will be an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE)/Agile Coach working alongside other RTEs and Agile coaches. You will have proven expertise in Scrum, Kanban and ideally the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

RELEASE TRAIN ENGINEER DUTIES:

- Facilitating programme level ceremonies such as backlog refinement/readiness and planning preparation
- Supporting alignment across all teams involved in the programme while also providing predictability to the deliverables over an established schedule and critical deadlines.
- Removing impediments, managing programme level risk and dependencies.
- Supporting Product Owners with the communication of updates as well as with backlog maintenance. Ensuring that each team has an actionable, prioritized backlog and defined and published Program Increment objectives.
- Coaching teams, Product Owners and Scrum Masters on the effective execution of ceremonies/events (within Scrum and Kanban). Developing and conducting Agile-oriented training and workshops.
- Taking on a hands-on approach where necessary, for example by performing a Scrum Master role.
