Release Manager Job

RELEASE MANAGERneeded for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, Missouri.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Prefer Master's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology Management
- Extensive programming experience in Java, Object Oriented C, REST APIs, PL/SQL or other languages for integration of technologies
- Experience as Technical Program Manager for Large Scale Consulting implementations a plus
- Hands on experience with modern IT practices influencing Change, Configuration, Release and/or development- Devops, Continuous Delivery, Agile, SCRUM, IOS or Android deployment and development
- ITIL Certification

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Plan, Coordinate and execute applications in Weblogic, mobile and cloud environment
- Automate repetitive tasks as required to maintain a secure and up to date operational environment
- Influence business stakeholders to adhere to continuous process improvement and release standards established by Global Service Management Organization
- Company Subject matter expert for a Global Release Management execution
- Responsible/accountable for the continual development, integration, maintenance, improvement, and dissemination of the Release Management procedures, and training materials to all current and future stakeholders
- Establishing and maintaining effective business and technical relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the IT organization
- Streamline, standardize, integrate and automate release processes to enable ITSM standards
- Consistently cultivates metrics, monitors, measures improving value of performance of the Release Management process
- Ensures that the process implementation evolves to comply with Information Technology Service Management and other audit frameworks
- Establishes and continually improves communication of Release Management process, tool, and technology performance to leadership and staff to help drive Continual Service Improvement activities

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Exposure to Six Sigma and the concept of defect management to continually improve while driving accountability
- Applied Information Technology Service Management Deployment Experience in large scale IT organization
- Project or Program Management Certification or Experience (secondary to hands-on IT experience)
