Release Manager (Dutch + English)

CONTEXT OF THE MISSION

Our client is looking for a Release Manager in order to coordinate the timely deployment of the software

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RELEASE MANAGER

- Set strategic direction and guidance
- Schedule, plan, and manage frequent release activities of various applications
- Be the technical SPOC for all matters relating to configuration management
- Work with developers and testers to identify and resolve build or deployment problems
- Ensures that appropriate quality steps and approvals are adhered to prior to software releases
- Recommend enhancements and updates to the software configuration management system
- Work with development to automate builds and software deployments
- Perform post release testing after application upgrades and/or releases
- Recognize the need to change and adjust project plans
- Maintain organization release schedules
- Manage software releases from engineering, through test and into manufacturing and to customers
- Generate and publish software release builds and documentation

PROFILE OF THE RELEASE MANAGER

- Full life cycle experience of Development, Test, Production, Configuration, and Software Delivery
- Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities
- A dynamic team player who will thrive in an evolving, international environment
- Experience as both, team player and effective team leader
- Ability to travel up to 50%
