RELEASE MANAGER (CONSULTANCY) - CONTRACT, DUBLIN

Role and Responsibilities:

Our client is looking for an experienced Release Manager or an Engineer looking to move up into management for an initial 6 month contract. You will join an existing team in a busy consultancy environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Release and deployment management
- Automating the build, continuous Integration (CI) and deployment processes
- Supporting existing automated build, release and test solutions
- Environments configuration, setup and maintenance
- Providing support to multiple teams

REQUIRED:

- Experience in a software configuration management, development or build engineer role
- Experience usingNANT/MS Build/PowerShell/TFS in a build and deployment context
- Experience with test driven development, automated testing frameworks such as NUnit, FitNesse, MS Test, etc.
- Good understanding of CI using Tools such as - Jenkins, Cruise Control, Team Build, etc.

DESIRABLE:

- Knowledge of Agile based development methodologies
- VB.NET and/or C# programming

SALARY:

- €450 - €500/day DOE
