Release Manager - Brussels - 535 Euros per day

My Client an Investment Bank based in BRUSSELS, requires a RELEASE MANAGER.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

Manage the day to day activities for an individual release in all its life cycle

phases: plan release, build & design release, test
-

Create, validate and follow up the full release planning;
-

Be accountable for the quality of the implementation of releases in her/his release portfolio scope by ensuring adherence to service level agreements and reducing the operational risks;
-

Determine risks and dependencies in relation with other releases, based on collected project impact information;
-

Define
-

Assemble QA
-

Escalate blocking issues to related authorities;
-

Follow up
-

Formalize the closure of the release(s);
-

Act as point of contact in her/his release portfolio scope for both customer and IT organization.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor/Master in IT or equivalent by experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

MANDATORY:

Good knowledge of applications and related architecture linked to Web Front End technologies (Java, Windows, .NET)

PREFERABLE:

ITIL

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

MANDATORY:

Java, Windows, .NET

LANGUAGE:

French - fluent

Dutch or NL fluent

English - Good knowledge
