An exciting new opportunity with my large financial services client has become available for a Release Manager

Location - Nottingham

Duration - Initial 3 months

Experience required:

- Release Management
- Experience of working in the financial services sector under FCA regulation
- Stakeholder management to ensure process changes are Embedded and approved first time

My client is looking for an individual who is an experienced Release Manager who can take their experience and apply it pragmatically to current processes to ensure:

- Current processes are implemented effectively
- Areas for improvement are identified, implemented pragmatically and communicated effectively
- ITIL is used as a guiding framework to define process and policy around Release & Implementation Mgmt
- Appropriate consideration of investment in tooling & implementation of tooling where approved
- Engagement with stakeholders to embed process changes and drive increase in approved first time' through release and change mgmt. gateways
- Insightful MI is used to measure performance, adherence to process/policy and drive behaviour
- Any experience of working with both Mainframe and distributed (.net/Java) technologies would be an advantage, as would working with a BMC tool called Release Process Management or other RM tools - however this is not essential.

This is an opportunity to drive the Evolution of this function. My client needs an experienced person to help them get the project where it needs to be.
