WE ARE LOOKING FOR RELEASE MANAGER FOR AN URGENT OPENING WITH ONE OF OUR ESTEEMED CLIENTS.
Job Title: Release Manager
Job Location: Dublin,Ireland
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Accountability areas
- Reviews with the ITTP Product Manager all requests for release features
- Creates and manages release activities across release phases
- Manages a release calendar including scope of releases
- Ensures creation and management of CR's for releases, conforming to change management requirements
- Coordinates and ensures timely testing and proper documentation of results
- Performs release readiness check, finalizes release note, and performs post release review and closure
- Decision Making
- Takes decisions with short-term impact independently, within a clear programme of action and guided by precedence with technical and managerial support as required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Experience within IT and Project Delivery
- Experience within the Pharma/Life Science industry preferable
- Demonstrated experience managing IT projects with a proven track record of success
- Exhibits a comprehensive knowledge of project management methodology
- Has a fundamental knowledge of business process analysis and design, system architectures, technology standards, etc.
- Provides comprehensive and authoritative technical or professional guidance on a wide range of issues within the area of project management to influence internal and/or external stakeholders
- Interacts with a typically diverse internal and external audience and is required to interpret complex information.
- Understands the needs of the business and aspects of the external environment (eg related projects, initiatives, functions, etc.) and their impact on the own area of responsibility
- Experience with ITSM tools (Remedy, HP, ServiceNow)
