Release Manager

Our CBD based client is currently looking for an experienced Release Manager to undertake projects within their expanding business.
To be successful in this role you will need to provide documentation on previous experiences in a release management role working with software designed for the Banking/Finance sector.

Reporting to the development manager your role responsibilities include:

- Forward plan the release windows and cycles across the enterprise
- Conduct pre-release audits
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect schedule and quality of release
- Coordinate release content and effort at enterprise level - communicating release schedules to internal and external stakeholders
- Produce Deployment and Implementation plans
- Maintain release schedules and ensure alignment across organisation
- Continually working towards improvement in the release process and tools used
- Lead release meetings
- Research new software development/configuration management methodologies and technologies, analyse their suitability to current management needs

Required Experience:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in superannuation and/or wealth management
- 2+ years of previous Release Management experience
- 8+ years of experience in Information Systems operations - systems analysis or development
- Formal training in project management practices
- Advanced knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
