The contract is with a large consultancy in Brussels to be on assignment at a large financial organisation.
The client is seeking a Release Manager who will join a team of 4 members as follows:
Tasks:
- Responsible for the go-live of various projects regrouped in a release for European branches.
- In charge of building overall planning after analysis of risks and schedules imposed by the diverse phases of the release management (Analysis, IST, UAT, non-regression test, dress rehearsal, go-live weekend and aftercare week)
- Redaction of project coordination dashboard: release scope, kick-off presentation slides, conference call minutes
- Prepare and chair weekly conference calls with all the participants of the release (project managers, technical release manager, business analysts)
- Preparation of test environments in collaboration with technical release manager
- Supervision of integration, user and non-regression tests with all the participants of the release.
Mandatory Technical Experience:
Min 2-3 years Project Management and coordination experience
Mandatory Business Experience:
- Project management: building overall planning, risk analysis, actions management according to their priority
- Coordination of project participants
- Communication
Preferable Business Experience:
- Cash management/Risk/Finance knowledge
Other skills:
Team player; quick self-starter, pro-active attitude; good communication and influencing skills; good analytical and synthesis skills; ability to work in dynamic and multi-cultural environment
Education:
Bachelor/Master Degree or equivalent by experience in IT/banking project management
Fluent English mandatory; French a plus
Some business trips in Europe
A few working weekends (go-live weekends) 4-5 per year
