Release Manager

A well known Government organisation is seeking a strong Release Manager to be responsible for the release & deployment management process for a major program of works. This includes prioritising, scheduling and coordinating tasks across a range of teams including third party vendors to produce a next release' of the project.

Key requirements:

- Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in project/release management in software architecture and development life cycles.
- High level experience in the design, development, enhancement & implementation of complex systems.
- Extensive experience in managing a team of consultants/contractors/staff.
- Experience in managing multiple disparate/interrelated projects with varying timelines and deliverables.
- Experience in managing vendor contracts and developing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills, particularly in reporting, public presentation and consultation, and the ability to negotiate and communicate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Current driver's license recognised in NSW and capacity and willingness to travel within NSW regional towns and centres ad-hoc and overnight, and the ad-hoc requirement to work outside of normal business hours
