Release Management Coordinator

RELEASE MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR - APPLICATION PACKAGING

You will work in the Windows Performance & Quality, Management Support team. The team takes care of transversal requests in terms of reporting, KPI, quality control and supports. Before reaching end users, every Windows process is subject to a software release process to ensure that it meets the corporate standards (technical, security, compliance) and that it does not show undesirable behaviour (quality).

YOU WILL ESSENTIALLY ASSIST IN THE FOLLOW UP OF THE ACTIVITIES:

- Organize and follow communications around release management
- Make proposal for improving existing process and communication flow
- Organise and follow applications testing
- Creation of reports, dashboards
- Detection of anomalies
- Define actions

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

The Role of the Release Management Coordinator is to effectively:

- Test coordination:

o Identify improvements to the process and assist in their implementation.
o Plan, arrange and control meetings, workshops and relations with client/user staff.
o Set up and maintain QUALITY CENTER (Defect tracking/management)
- Follow-up and reporting activities:

o Analyze release management data to detect anomalies. Propose improvements.
o Setup/create/maintain tools to guarantee follow-up of all activities
o Assist in the actual follow-up
- Communication activities:

o Follow and communicate with contributors of release process,
o Keep our clients informed in a practical and efficient way,
o Propose communications improvement (template, flow )

EXPERIENCE:

- Education & Soft skills Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience
- Team player
- Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude
- Good analytical and synthetic skills
- Autonomy, commitment and perseverance,
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
- Good Communicator (Speaking/Written),
- Influencing skills, ability to convince
- Experience: 2 years of experience in similar function

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE/

- Experience with test coordination and change management
- Office 2010
- o Excel, Access
- o PowerPoint (Presentation)
- o Word
- Knows how to write a SQL statement

PREFERABLE:

- Knowledge of release management
- Knowledge of application packaging/delivery
- Fluent in English and one of either Dutch or French
