RELEASE MANAGEMENT ANALYST - WEST YORKSHIRE - £405PD

We have a requirement for a Release Analyst to support the Release Management team of a financial services client based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. This is a contract role for an initial 6 month period.

THE RELEASE ANALYST WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Supporting the Release Manager and taking ownership with the exceptions to this framework
- Supporting the Release Manager and taking ownership of escalations impacting Risks, Issues, Assumptions and dependencies relating to the Release
- Reviewing redacted documents to be shared with the client
- Ensuring any client actions required as a result of changes to milestones are being progressed
- Supporting the Release Manager and taking ownership with facilitating defect resolution for any defect impacting the client that may pose a threat to the release implementation.
- Reporting progress to the Release Manager via agreed metrics on a regular basis
- Establishing and maintaining release communications with the Release Manager

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Strong understanding of change management, life cycle stages, dependency management and interest in understanding large change programmes and the impact they have.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and work with executive stakeholders
- Excellent organisation and time management. Ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines and react accordingly to changing demands and priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work with all levels of client and internal resources
- Coordination, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem solving

RATE: £405 per day
START: Early August 2015
DURATION: 6 months+
LOCATION: Halifax, West Yorkshire
