RELEASE ENGINEER/RELEASE MANAGER/.NET/SQL SERVER
Do you have previous experience in release and deployment management?
Would you like to work with an established consultancy firm?
Vantage Resources are urgently looking for an experienced release manager for a contract role in Dublin.
The role will include release and deployment management with a strong focus on automation. You will be tasked with supporting the existing automated build, release and test solutions and maintenance of server environments. You will be preparing pre-release checks, validating release change sets and setting release schedules. Experience in a Software Configuration Management, Development or Build Engineer position is required.
A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS IS REQUIRED:
Experience using - NANT/MS Build/PowerShell/TFS in a build & deployment context.
Visual Studio and TFS
.NET Framework
Windows Server
IIS Applications
SQL Server
BizTalk Server
Experience in Test Driven Development, Automated Testing Frameworks such as NUnit, FitNesse, MS Test or similar
Understanding of Continuous Integration using Tools such as - Jenkins, Cruise Control, Team Build or similar
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of Agile based development methodologies
VB.NET and/or C# programming
Hyper-V Administration & Configuration
SharePoint Administration & Configuration
Database Administration
Competitive daily rates are on offer for the right candidate.
The initial contract is for 6 months but there is the strong possibility of renewal.
