Release Engineer
Edelway SA is a Swiss IT Services Company. Our global leading Banking client based in Zürich, Switzerland, is currently looking for Release Engineers to join them on a long term basis.
YOUR ROLE:
* Coordination of the end-to-end testing and release management for the Treasury Data warehouse (TDWH)
* Create efficient/sustainable processes to handle changes from multiple project teams in different locations within an agile development environment
* Work closely with the members of our highly capable and agile international team
* Set standards that guide the development teams in the creation of unit test cases
SKILLS:
* Graduate degree in Computer Science, equivalent education or qualifying experience
* Good knowledge of Oracle (queries, partitioning, PL/SQL)
* Experience with unit- and regression-testing frameworks
* Good understanding of version control systems (ideally SVN or CVS)
* Experience working with Unix (including Shell Scripting) is a plus
* Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter (version 8.6 or higher) is a plus
* Banking experience is a plus but not essential
* Proactive and reliable personality suited to working with a team
* Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential, German (spoken/written) as a plus
