Release & Configuration Analyst

My client is a respected Government organisation looking for a Release & Configuration Analyst to join their team for an initial 3 month contract with view to extend.

We are seeking an experience Release & Configuration Analyst to work with the Solutions & Support team, you will be responsible for managing & improving the quality and reliability of the release implementation to reduce costs & minimise risks.

- Manage the release and deployment of any changes to Production and Non-Production environments by defining the version, baselining the configuration items, reviewing and accepting proposed deployments
- Establish & maintain a Release Management Policy by formulating & disseminating ITIL-aligned policies, processes & procedures
- Build relationships with vendors to ensure that they maintain and adhere to the change management policy
- Proven experience in ITIL-aligned Release Management process
- Proven experience in project management and change management
- Strong process knowledge of software development life cycle
- Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
