Release Engineer/Build Engineer
Location: Dublin
Duration: 6 months
Eolas are currently engaged in a search for a Release Build Engineer for a client of there's within the Consultancy space. The successful candidate will have good management experience and extensive experience in the co-ordination of releases. The ideal candidate will also have a background in development and support
Skills & Responsibilities
Experience improving both build and deployment processes
Strong experience work
ESSENTIALS SKILLS THE CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:
2+ years' experience in a Software Configuration Management, Development or Build Engineer role
Build and Deployment experience using - NANT/MS Build/PowerShell/TFS
Design and development experience in enterprise solutions using Microsoft tools & products such as:
o Visual Studio (2008, 2010, 2012) and TFS (2010, 2012)
o .NET Framework (VB.NET, C# or ASP.NET)
o Windows Server
o IIS Application and Connection Pooling
o SQL Server 2008
o BizTalk Server 2010
Good understanding and experience in Test Driven Development, Automated Testing Frameworks such as NUnit, FitNesse, MS Test, etc
Good understanding of Continuous Integration using Tools such as - Jenkins, Cruise Control, Team Build, etc
Proven strong written and oral communication skills
Practical experience in all phases of development and test life cycle
