Release and Configuration Manager - 6 Month Contract

My client a global IT company is looking for a Release and Configuration Manager to be responsible for their direct pre-production environments.

This is an excellent opportunity to take control of the pre-production environment of a blue chip company. You will have the governance to approve environment allocations, migrations and rebuilds.

You will also have the responsibility for the retrofitting process to be considered for the approval of rebuilds and refreshes.

You will be responsible for creating and development of a Release Strategy through the environments

To be a successful candidate you must have a minimum of 4 years experience within a similar position and have a strong understanding of the issues around release management. You must have strong relationship configuration and management skills within a similar environment.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Previous experience within a Environment or Configuration Management role
- Strong SDLC knowledge
- Deployment and environment tools experience.
- Strong understanding of the technology involved in release, application and infrastructure management.
- Operations and development sourcing models.
- Previous Agile experience.
