Release Analyst - Banking

RELEASE ANALYST - BANKING

A Global Bank are looking to hire a release analyst to work on upcoming projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute to the Release Management team as a key team member, by contributing to the development, implementation and application of processes and policies.
- Demonstrating the ability to manage the full process for releases autonomously, including implementing troubleshooting and problem solving skills, and taking
- Preparing the release itself, standardising, troubleshooting and problem solving, through to all documentation of release cycle and appropriate user training
- Develop and maintain relationships internally within Systems Group and externally with other departments and divisions to ensure proactive communication and quality support and service delivery.
- Demonstrate valuable customer service by providing effective deliverables, in terms of support, coordination, functionality and results.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Building windows scripts, specifically VBS & DOS Scripting for deployment.
- Use of Active Directory groups and understanding of a wide range of technologies, web, databases (SQL Experience with development of applications to understand the challenges faced by application deployment
- VBScript, WScript, AD, Windows Office, Subversion
