Relay Technician

Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for RELAY TEST ENGINEERS/TECHNICIANS. You will need 5-20 years of experience in the electrical testing industry with 2+ years of direct experience testing protective relays for the T&D industry. Actual pay based on depth of experience, range of direct experience, and education. OT available. Relocation is not required but you must be open to 50-80% travel when working from home. Work primarily in the states of Maine, Florida, Texas, California, Washington, and Oregon. Also seeking candidates with Project Management experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Test solid state relays (SEL, Basler, General Electric, etc) for the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) industry
- Develop test plans

REQUIREMENTS

- 5-20 years experience in the electrical testing industry
- 2+ years of direct experience testing protective relays for the T&D industry
- Experience with Omicron, Doble or Multi-Amp protective relay test equipment
- BSEE desirable
- Willingness to travel 50-80%
