About the role:

The primciple of this role is to identify sales opportunities by matching customer/broker needs to EDF Energy products and services and arranging for the appropriate sales or marketing contact within EDF Energy to manage and complete the sales activity.

In this role you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets for fixed price/duration supply contracts. You will be expected to develop and maintain a portfolio and maximise opportunities, over the telephone and also face to face with customers. You will also engage in supporting initiatives which improve customer satisfaction as well as being expected to maintain accurate and timely information.

About you:

You will have a proven successful sales experience including complex negotiation

You will have evidence of cross departmental working to achieve business goals

You must be customer focussed and action orientated to deliver an outstanding service to our customers.

You will be able to effectively demonstrate commercial acumen and sound decision making

You will have sound knowledge of EDF Energy's core and value added products

Ideally you will understanding of energy wholesale markets and risk management methodologies in order to work with customer to identify appropriate strategies for their determined level of risk

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
