Regulatory Specialist

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a REGULATORY SPECIALIST to join our client in Overland Park, KS.

Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzing new and existing customer cell sites for regulatory compliance.
- Perform airspace and instrument procedure analysis using Federal Airways and Airspace programs.
- Produce airspace opinion letters. Search, retrieve and validate existing Federal filings from various sources.
- Prepare and submit FAA filings including supplemental filings. Prepare and submit State DOT filings including supplemental filings.
- Prepare and submit FCC Antenna Structure Registration requests and signage requisitions.
- Perform AM radio station proximity screenings, submit RFP's, interface with vendors, and coordinate field work with vendors and Local Delivery Organization (LDO), track work to completion.
- Review FCC Section 106 NEPA checklists/packages. Perform complex research and analysis of existing cell site database records.
- Validate and upload documents and enter data in customer's database of record.
- Escalate issues to LDO, outside vendors, structure owners and customers.

Job Qualifications:
- Two to three (2-3) years of experience working in cell site regulatory compliance.
- Working knowledge of FAA and FCC regulatory rules, requirements, procedures, forms and websites. Familiarity with the North American geodetic system.
- General understanding of RF Safety compliance requirements.
- Possess accurate data entry skills and great attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize high workload and adapt to changing priorities while consistently meeting objectives.
- Good understanding of cell site, wireless network, and basic tower construction principles.
- General knowledge of the wireless tower industry leading companies desired.
- Effectively and efficiently work independently with minimal supervision.
- Follow issues through to resolution.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office suite Good working knowledge of online mapping programs.
- Working knowledge of TERPS (U.S. Terminal Procedures) is preferred.
- Special tools/required: Map Info, Google Earth, Adobe Professional, and Microsoft Office.
