Regulatory Risk Developer Oracle: Banking, Oracle 11g, SSIS

Global banking organisation is looking for a developer to be part of the project team responsible for the retirement of the existing Legacy in-house Regulatory application for 3rd party marketing leading solution.

Key responsibilities will include:

Reverse engineer current process to gain a detail understand of regulatory requirements
Work with stakeholder to document requirements for: Basel III, COREP & Head office reporting requirements.
Assist in evaluation and validation Capital calculations (providing additional insight)
be involved in design of the interface that allows the transfer of transactional and reference data from their trading platform into 3rd Regulation
Participate in the migration programme to retire existing Legacy architecture onto a new 3rd party solution.
Liaise with 3rd party vendors in the introduction development, testing and implementation of solution
Complying with the standard release cycle and deployment controls.
Liaise with other Technology teams

Skills & Experience:
Essential:

A detailed understanding of SSIS
Product knowledge - Fixed Income, Equities, OTC Derivatives and Commodities
Strong database knowledge in Oracle, SQL/PL/SQL/T-SQL
Experience of delivering solutions using MS Reporting services/Business Objects.

Desirable:

Exposure to third party risk reporting solutions (eg Moodys or Lombard Risk)
Participation in similar projects
