Role: Regulatory Risk
-        Adherence to Topaz policy;
-        Regulatory compliance;
-        Effectiveness.

RISK AND CONTROLS

- Review HML internal audit reports and results of HML internal QA.
- Report and discuss the results of case reviews, complaints root cause analysis and HML internal audit reports and QA to the Regulatory Risk and Compliance Lead.
- Identify risks with operation of Topaz and HML.
- Escalate any issues identified to the Regulatory Risk and Compliance Lead.
- Complete Compliance Reporting MI summary page.

POLICY

- Conduct regular reviews of Topaz policy (at least annually).
- Understand and interpret Topaz policies and regulatory requirements.
- Understand end to end arrears/enforcement process.
- Conduct root cause analysis of the policy complaints.

COMPLAINTS

- Conduct root cause analysis of policy complaints.
- Conduct full review of complaint referral cases from HML and a sample of reportable/non-reportable compliant cases.

STRATEGY

- Produce Topaz' risk profile monthly prior to Risk and Compliance committee and measure against Topaz' stated risk appetite and risk tolerance.
- Compare risk profile to Topaz stated risk appetite and tolerance.

n  Build relationships with HML Compliance.

> 3 years FS regulation experience - Thoroughness

> 5 years file reviews experience  - Prior experience of root cause analysis
