REGULATORY REPORTING REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a REGULATORY REPORTING REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Gathering, refining and elaborating on Business and Regulatory requirements
- Production of quality documentation including Business Requirements and Technical Specifications
- Ongoing business engagement during all phases of the project from initial requirements gathering into production
- Working with the development and QA teams in an agile approach to deliver requirements in a number of iterations
- Coordination and collaboration with your counterparts across applications and teams - including other BA's, project managers, testing teams, developers, business sponsors.
- Experience participating in Scrum meetings with both onshore and offshore development teams
- Understanding of Solution Architecture would be beneficial

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- Experience with relevant tools and best practices eg Enterprise Architect, Use-case analysis, QualityCenter, JIRA, Subversion
- Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Banking IT experience (especially regulatory driven) with exposure to both the Business and IT highly desirable
- Experience participating in Scrum meetings with both onshore and offshore development teams
- Understanding of Solution Architecture would be beneficial
- Proven ability to work alone or as part of a team, can take direction but also able show initiative
- Able to work as part of a global team
- Experience working in an international environment
- Ideally highly communicative individual, happy to talk to both the business and IT and to be a bridge between both
