REGULATORY REPORTING ASSOCIATE/RISK WEIGHTED ASSETS/EXCEL/CIMA, ACCA, ACA/BANKING/LONDON

We are looking, on the behalf of a major recruitment consultancy, for the services of an experienced Regulatory Reporting Associate, to join a team based in London. The successful candidate will be required to conduct monthly RWA reporting (WD4 Flash and WD14 month), involvement in the FRANK adjustment process, Data Quality work and process improvement.

Key role in calculating month-end RWAs on the trading book positions and provide these to:

- Chief accountants, in order to calculate the firm's capital ratios, and to comply with the firm's external reporting requirements.
- The Businesses. They manage their trading positions in order to comply with their capital limits, therefore providing accurate and timely information is key.

THE ROLE ALSO INVOLVES:- - Tactical Process improvement -understands the team's processes and the structure of the Access database we work with and suggest improvements.
- Strategic development - SME in the development of the strategic solutions to remediate the manual processes the team currently works with. Participation in writing System specifications.
- Project Implementation: to ensure the successful implementation of firm wide project deliverables into the business as usual environment.
- Liaison - Key contact with Risk and Decision Support in London. Understand business drivers for RWAs
- Data Quality: Flag any identified data quality issues to the appropriate re-mediation programme or business area to ensure fixes can be implemented at source.
- BAU: To report accurately in line with the agreed reporting deadlines.
- Control Framework & culture of control: To ensure controls are in place and evidence clearly visible and auditable to support the delivery and sign-off of the end output. Document processes and the control environment.

KEY CRITERIA

- Experience on reporting on Risk Weighted Assets (RWA).
- Regulatory reporting background
- Advanced Excel user
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
