Regulatory Reporting Analyst - Edinburgh

A UK Banking Group based in Edinburgh is looking to urgently hire a Wholesale Finance Regulatory Reporting manager on an initial month basis. This is an urgent role as one of the team has had to leave the company.

As such, interviews will be booked in ASAP for the right candidate, and a start date could be booked in before Christmas (although a January start is also feasible).

The daily rate is between £250 and £380 per day, and the candidate will be required to fulfil the following responsibilities:

- Contribute to Month Reporting, MI and specific FSA Reportage
- Produce actuals and subsequent analytical reviews to identify movements since last period
- Prepare and review manual adjustments
- Understand and obtain explanations for significant movements
- Produce MI packs and associated commentary for senior management review
- Ensuring a robust framework of financial control is applied throughout

The ideal candidate will also have the following skills:

- Qualified Accountant
- Highly Numerate with strong analytical skills
- Strong System skills (Particularly excel and dealing with large data volumes)
- Awareness of control frameworks
- SAP/Business Objects experience
- Basel Framework knowledge
