Regulatory Reporting Accountant

A leading bank in the city has tasked me in finding them a strong finance professional to help develop and analyse the assests of both Marhet and Credit risk that go towards determinig the regulatory capital requirements.

This role will help provide an important link between the IT, Risk and Finance functions, working in a challenging area of Finance for the delivery of capital RWA reportage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the review of monthly capital reports and returns and ensuring these are reconciled to the General Ledger in line with the given deadlines.
- Key assistance to the Regulatory Reporting Manager on any regulatory issues.
- Identification and clarification of improvements required to the reporting data, requiring a thorough understanding of Risk Weighted Asset calculations and Basel II guidelines.
- Maintaining a close relationship with Credit Risk, Market Risk and Finance personnel to ensure queries on data can be and is effectivley followed up.

A sound knowledge od Basel II requirements and Balance Sheet management is required.
