Regulatory Reform Consultant

Responsibilities include:

- Review compliance and regulatory risk framework and develop policies, procedures and processes designed to minimise the risk, and benchmark against industry best practice
- Anticipate, assess and communicate key regulatory risk trends, identify new regulatory requirements and the potential impact on the sale investment products to clients
- Maintain good working relationships with Compliance Representatives and senior business management to ensure any new implications are appropriately identified in a timely manner and secure buy-in from stakeholders on the appropriate steps to maintain industry compliance
- Oversee reform legislation and monitor industry trends to determine the business impact of new regulations and provide guidance to Change teams for ongoing development and implementation of appropriate control measures

Key Attributes:

- An in-depth understanding of the Investment Banking industry and products. My client has stressed that this is essential for consideration for the role
- A high level of compliance, with an excellent working knowledge of relevant regulations and the ability to interpret and apply them to actual situations
