For our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical players with HQ in Basel, we are looking for a REGULATORY PROGRAM MANAGER with PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL ENVIRONMENT.

This is a challenging contracting position starting in JUNE until the END OF THE YEAR 2016.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE:

As a Regulatory Program Manager, you will be responsible for the regional (EU, ROW) regulatory strategic and operational management of a project.

As a key team member, you will represent and/or support the Regulatory Leader in representing the regional function on cross-functional teams (eg Global Development Teams/Lifecycle Teams/Disease Biology Project Teams etc.). Furthermore, you will give regional strategic regulatory input to the RAFT for life cycle management of products throughout the development and life cycle value chain. The regulatory program manager will also manage and co-ordinate the regional registration procedures incl. the management of the preparation of the answers to questions from authorities and subsidiaries etc.

TO BE THE BEST AT THIS ROLE, IT WOULD HELP A GREAT DEAL IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

- University degree, preferably in a scientific/technical discipline
- Knowledge and EXPERIENCE OF REGIONAL REGULATORY PROCESSES (eg successful management of centralized/Mutual Recognition Procedure in the EU)
- Practical experience of successfully managing HEALTH AUTHORITY INTERACTIONS ON A REGIONAL BASIS (EMEA/CHMP AND NATIONAL AUTHORITIES OR KEY COUNTRIES)
- Knowledge of drug discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing
- Commitment to performance measures of time, cost and quality
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Influence skills
- Strategic thinker that applies regulatory and scientific knowledge to determine solutions and solve compex problems
