Regulatory Business Analyst

For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Regulatory Business Analyst:

START: ASAP

DURATION: 6 months

LOCATION: Zürich

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse/clarify requirements and specifications
Process analysis and design
Data analysis/investigation
Establish requirements and defect tracking processes
Coordinate and perform front-to-back testing
Control, monitor and report test progress/statistical information
Roll-out of changes including end-user testing (UAT).
Interface with offshore team members and business users
Coaching of junior team members and user training
The emphasis will be mainly on regulatory change projects, but can also include business process re-engineering projects, continuous improvement and data quality initiatives.

As the ideal candidate you are/have:

Bachelor degree or equivalent apprenticeship in Business, Economics, Commercial Informatics or equivalent
Quality Assurance and/or Test Management experience is required
Business analysis experience is preferred
Regulatory work experience (CFTC, EMIR, FinfraG, etc) is a big asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ideally command of German
Good understanding of the project and systems development life cycle, preferably experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
A strong team player
Organized and well-structured
Analytical with strong problem solving ability
Strong prioritization and time management skills
