Regulatory and Strategy Manager

I am recruiting for a Regulatory and Strategy Manager for a leading telecommunications company based in Berkshire. This is a contract role covering maternity leave.
Within the role of Regulatory and Strategy Manager you will help develop and implement the companies' regulatory and business strategy. You will work closely with the legal team and provide advice, analysis and insight on how to develop long term projects for the company.

Responsibilities will include;
*Analysing complex regulatory and policy issues through research, information gathering and economic and financial analysis.
*Developing new customer and business propositions.
*Managing external advisors to help analyse regulatory issues.
*Advising senior management on strategies for responding to regulatory and policy issues, and how regulatory issues should impact other key business decisions, such as pricing, product design or business investment.
*Drafting regulatory responses and briefing notes to industry consultants to support business objectives.

The skills and background we are looking for;
*A strong Economics background where you have been working for consulting organisations, independent regulators or for a mobile operator.
*Must have a Degree in Economics.
*You will have been responsible for running multiple complex projects.
*Experience applying economic analysis to business, regulatory and policy problems.
