Job Title: Regulatory Analyst (Qualified Accountant)

Client: Investment Bank

Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months rolling

Rate: £250-£300 P/d

Location: London

An exciting opportunity is available for newly qualified Accountants (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) within a top tier investment bank's regulatory reporting team.

Key responsibilities of the Regulatory Analyst role:

- Daily and monthly calculation of regulatory capital, in accordance with the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) guidelines for a number of UK based regulated entities
- Prepare and submit all external returns to UK regulatory agencies
- Daily internal distribution to senior management of regulatory surplus capital position for key regulated entities

Experience:

- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Banking experience essential
- A proactive, enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- The successful candidate will show ability to understand regulatory rules quickly and communicate them to others clearly
- A self starter and someone who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Can work under tight deadline or demanding time pressure
- Candidate should have an interest in financial products and some experience or knowledge of them
- Experience in risk management or regulatory reporting an advantage.
