DUTIES:

- Leading and coordinating an IT team in installing, upgrading and supporting IT infrastructure
- Administering and coordinating the procurement of IT staff
- Liaising with various departments on local hardware installation and upgrades
- Providing advice to senior staff on technical issues impacting IT technologies
- Monitoring and reporting on the system installations, availability of services and providing advice to staff
- Training of entry level IT Support
- Providing 2nd level support for technologies and liaising with other team members to provide a high quality service
- Leading and coordinating on installing, testing, upgrading and maintaining agreed performance levels for approved IT technologies, systems and software in accordance with my client's standards, policies and operating procedures
- Providing support and on the job instruction

SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Extensive experience in the Information Technology industry
- Demonstrated experience in the installation and configuration of WLAN/LAN based data communications devices and the management of an enterprise wide Domain operating across a Wide Area Network
- Knowledge of the operation of standard Internet protocols and services
- High level organisational and problem solving skills
- Capacity to learn new systems and technology with knowledge of IT industry standards and trends
- Knowledge of business principles and practices with high level communication skills and
- the ability to deal with people
- Current drivers licence
