TO DRIVE AND LEAD YOUR TEAMS TO ACHIEVE AND EXCEED ALL SALES TARGETS WHILST ENSURING DELIVERY OF EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE - Drive delivery of company sales targets through regular target setting for all sales consultants/branches to ensure full team are working towards overall regional and company target.
- Recruitment and overall management and development of all staff within team.
- Leading by example, ensure service delivery levels within own team which exceed customer expectations.
- Deliver against strong KPIs in line with company wide Rewarding Performance guidelines managing under performance where necessary.
- Encourage a climate of professionalism, enthusiasm and fun within own team which reflect brand values.
- Complete robust checks during branch visits to ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and guidelines, and raise and manage concerns where identified.
- Create regular plans to map out actions to achieve overall sales and ancillary targets within branches.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with staff through frequent branch visits, 1:1 meetings and conference calls.
- Ensure actions in place within branches to fully support trading priorities communicated from Head Office.
- Maximise revenue by driving down cost per booking and increasing ancillary sales at every opportunity
- To constantly seek new, alternative and innovative methods of achieving or surpassing business goals.
- To develop, coach and grow a strong sales focused team which delivers true value to Virgin Holidays.
- To analyse systems, procedures, processes and output to ensure best practice is being achieved at all levels, and effect change where necessary.
- Encourage staff to develop their knowledge and skills by implementation of robust and stretching Personal Development Plans for all Sales Consultants

REQUIREMENTS - Extensive experience in managing target driven multi site sales teams within the retail sector (travel or non travel related)
- Experience and ability to work in high pressured sales environment without losing focus on delivery of results
- Proven track record of effectively managing a team and delivering results from a distance
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills
- Commercially and customer focused with an ability to drive strong sales performance
- Excellent coaching skills
- Ability to think and operate both strategically and tactically
- Excellent numeric skills to analyse sales figures and investigate opportunities
- Demonstrate a confident and assertive manner when dealing with staff and customers
- Strong people management experience
- Excellent leadership & people management skills
- Excellent MI skills desirable advanced
- Extensive managerial experience
- Must have a full, clean UK driving licence
- Ability to travel within the UK when necessary
- This role is subject to a criminal record check
