Regional Project Manager

Projektbeschreibung
ERP Resource Base requires a Regional Project Manager with telephony implementation experience for a long term engagement in Chennai with a global client. The scope of this project is to deliver a centralised, standard and integrated IP telephony and contact centre platform to all the client's offices worldwide.
The general responsibilities for this role include:
1. Take joint end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of the Transformation Programme in region with the Suppliers Regional Project Manager
2. Validate and manage the regional Project Plan in conjunction with the Supplier Regional Project Manager, and to manage resources against the Project Plan
3. Take end to end responsibility for the management of risk, issues and change, from initial identification at project commissioning through to project completion
4. Initiate corrective actions & escalations and ensure the successful resolution of project failings.
5. Lead and manage the regional resource (1 x project coordinator), with the authority and responsibility to run the project on a day-to-day basis
6. Coordinate the ordering and delivery of new handsets and further hardware, software, services & circuits (as required) to regional sites.
7. Initiate & progress of both LAN & WAN MACDs where required
8. Coordinate of site preparation & installation works with local site WSM/MIS
9. Report project performance (review/preview) to the central PMO, any variations (actual or forecast) and oversee the implementation of approved recommendations/rectifications.
10. Establish and maintain regional project stakeholder expectations
11. Capture and validate Lessons Learned identified during the project life cycle ensuring their adoption through the global team.
12. Satisfy the Completion Criteria for the project
Must have/mandatory skills:
1. Project Management certification eg Prince2/PMP. (Preferred)
2. Proven track record in Project Managing Telephony projects (min 5 years)
3. Proven track record in Project Managing International projects (min 3 years) (Preferred)
4. Proven experience Project Managing IPCC projects in India (min 3 years) (Preferred)
5. Experience of working with telecommunications Managed Service Providers
6. Experience of implementation of Cisco IPT & IPCC solutions (Preferred)
7. Strong management and organization skills
8. Clear & professional communication skills at an international level.
9. Fluent English skills essential.
